Just fantastically useful in planning a trip. Thank you!!
Great informative video yet again. Love how the grandeur and vastness has been captured. Appreciate the tips and links below. As mentioned earlier, after watching your full Jordan video, Jordan is definitely back on my list (shelved in 2020 due to covid!). Thank you. Melbourne
great video - very helpful
Perfect video π΅ Thanks a buch for this detailed information ! I'm planning to visit Jordan next month and this video is very helpful to plan everything !
I paid a βguideβ to take us up to the view point in Petra above the treasury - we paid 10 dinars for 2 adults. Not cheap by all means but it was worth it. Definitely go early
I am starting my next trip to alicante Spain, Portugal porto. I saw your madeira Island video and you inspired me so going there too for one week. You inspired me for jorden then planning for that too.... Many many thanks π for your videos...
We went in July (2024) and surprisingly, it wasnβt deathly hot (max 32Β°) weβve been in Seville when it was 42Β°! We first tried the Uber taxi route from the hotel to Amman museum but found there was a 20 minute wait, then a mix up. So we went out in the street and flagged a yellow cab. We negotiated the fare with the driver before getting in - he wanted 6 Dinar, I suggested 2.00. We agreed on 3 and I gave him 3.50. It was the same getting back to the hotel (the traffic was pretty shocking!) and we had two yellow cabs arguing over our fare (which obviously got lower and lower π) but the guys were lovely and a good laugh. I never felt threatened walking in the busy streets at night, but I wouldnβt stay in Amman again - we also went to the smaller town of Madaba (just south of the capital) and much preferred it.
π΅ Awesome video! Very informative and video resolution and editing is top notch. Thanks for sharing!
We ended up taking the shuttle bus to Little Petra, where we walked around just in time to hear someone come out of the cliff and sing the Adhan. Imagine the acoustics in that canyon! From there, it was a 5JD Jeep ride to a spot where they dropped us on the side of a path. The driver pointed down the path and said "Monastery." So we hiked about an hour and a half (stopped for coffee at a Bedouin tent, of course) until we reached said Monastery. We approached it from a very different side on a beautiful walk where we enjoyed spectacular vistas of the surrounding desert before descending to the Treasury and the Siq. That was our 1-day Petra walk. Recommended to us by Abdullah at the Petra Heart Hotel.
Thank you so much! Hugely helpful xx
Great video , very informative π
