That Torx Screwdriver!

@georgem6068

LOL, that torx screwdriver. Pretty neat tho.

@lion1746

а с какой минуты начался ремонт? и когда закончился? я что-то пропустил!)

@firsthuman0014

The real workmanship displayed. These guys are proving that all machine made by man can also be repaired & restored. Kudos to them. And also to this guy who made this video that enhances the knowledge of common man to counter corporate conman who try to sell products claims its new. Wake up India, help such karmachari who does meticulous jobs with so much ease. ❤

@poldoford

What was repaired there? Anyway, I love paited electric terminals ❤

@nathandevine552

The welding really impressed me

@magnusatheos7301

I have so much respect for these people who actually fix things instead of just being parts changers. And with conditions and equipment that would make people in this part of the world cry like babies. There's never a shortage of comments from the safety na2i's under videos like these.

@keithscott9774

I'm always impressed by what these guys achieve with what they've got. While we throw things away, they recycle them.

@refri-fast899

Falta limpiar y calibrar valvulas de baja y alta.
Revisar compresion,arranque,retencion de presion o compresion.
Perdidas o fugas en los empaques.
Revisar fuga en el sellado.
Falta mucho para decir que es una reparacion.

@tonyfrewin4822

All these western experts have opinions on Asian engineering. They do the best they can with what they have available and guess what, they fix things and make things work and they do it to survive. They really don’t do this work for fun and entertainment, it’s real world survival. I admire their hard work and ingenuity but I also care about the risks involved and lack of PPE but never from ignorant hateful perspective. Respect these guys.

@foxythedirtydog4494

I hope there is an RCD on the test rig.
The hardest part of that job is welding the seam without leaks. That weld looked perfect to me. I would have thought MIG would be easier.
Minutes to watch but a lot longer to do.
What was wrong with it to begin with?
Adding the Danfoss label was going above and beyond.

@joshuaking5519

Not even gonna lie, your boy laid down a clean ass weld when he closed it back up. 👌🏻

@dmitryderek4096

@G.A.R.2002

It's really good to see things get recycled.
Makes you wonder why it doesn't happen here. My last fridge/freezer only lasted
20 years. .it could have been repaired

@AlQuran-Hidayah

great work… we Pakistanis love cleaning things with Gasoline/Petrol 😄.

@cfauvel

I don’t want to hate on the guy, but I didn’t see the guy fill the pan with oil, resurface the armature, or replace the brushes, and like someone said, the bearing. This isn’t going to last very long.

But I like I finally see what is inside one of these.

@donaldappelhof2059

Wouldn’t the weld contaminate the inside? I didn’t see any nitrogen used.

@martincremer1422

Can we not at the very least agree to appreciate the resourcefulness of such an individual? There's a cultural tendency in the developed West to toss large appliances when there's a relatively easy repair (a single busted relay).

These folks are repairing materials on a fundamental level with the tool sets they have at their disposal. In doing so, they gain a sophisticated understanding of the mechanics of a rather complex device (not 1 in 500,000 US citizens would have the tools or knowhow to repair something as "simple" as a factory made compressor.

@alap1983

SO MANY "repairs", if done or done correctly, are missing from this video. It seems these repair shops are hiding some important repair/refurbishment works such as bearings, bushings, oiling, etc. The compressor isn't a complex machine. However, it has to VERY reliable as it operates in hot, humid, and high-pressure conditions. It is also tough to remove and repair this component from a refrigerator.
The paint job and the stickers (which could mislead customers into thinking this is a new Compressor) are top notch.

@rackets001

No PPE required!! Screw eyes, that's why we have two! Also, that planning job on the mating surface with a perfectly flat stone was mint!
