@bubbs6969

Okie dokie, for anybody particular confused, cos this has actually kinda blown up (and I'm scared), I will add a bit of context!

These two characters are from an unpublished WIP comic that I have been working on for. Like. Two years now. I'll put it out one day, I swear. Anyways, these two are Judge Hamish (he/him) and then Wilhelmina (she/her). She goes by Mina for short.

Mina was entrusted to Hamish's care when she was born as the mother died giving birth and the father was not married to the mother. He was afraid of the social backlash he and his daughter would endure due to the scandal, but didn't want to dump her in some crappy orphanage. Plus, this way, he can still see her every now and again since she is staying in the local community. She has grown up only really knowing Hamish as a father or, more accurately, grandfatherlike figure.

Hamish is apart of the governing religious order. They worship an ancient angel called the Judge, a title that the highest members of their order take on themselves. The Judge does not look kindly upon witches. Unfortunately for said witches, one is not a witch for performing witchcraft but rather by birthright. It is the job of the order to enact the Judge's will, and as such, the corruption of witches must be burned out. Literally.

You can surely figure out a little more about this video from there.

Sorry that I lied about it being wholesome. Teehee.

EDIT: to the people that keep thinking Hamish is sexy... why.

@kitcatbug

Dang she must have let the church find out that we can shapeshift… 😔

@The_sweet_release_of_death

WHOLESOME MY A*S! 😭

@kewlartthings_dude

I love the subtle unsettlement at the end of ruining the symmetry that you got accustomed to his face having by tilting the frown, it "ruins" perfection and unsettles the mind

@midnightgalaxy432

I can’t tell whether he’s angry, disgusted, disappointed, or holding back the saddest expression of all time.

@TheLetucehead

If the men find out we can shapeshift, they're going to tell the church

Guys, they're obviously roasting marshmallows in front of a campfire and the Priest is just hot so he's uncomfortable and frowning.

It's 100% wholesome.

Amazing animation

@timetoburndowncities

WHAT?! WHOLESOME....?

@thestorybooktheater9506

I'm absolutely adore the trope of a child being raised in a monastery by an elderly priest who treats them like their own child.

Bonus points if at some point, the child and priest are at odds, and the priest is forced to reexamine his teachings and defy his god. Because not even god could come between the love of his child.

Bonus BONUS points if the priest dies in an attempt to save the child's life.

Wonderful story you've got here, and beautiful art!! I'd LOVE to read it sometime!

@chloecounts6910
