I am putting everything in this video and your "what not to say" videos into a cheat sheet I will be taking to every interview (on the rare occasions I get one)
This advice is gold yet it is free on YouTube! Thank you, Ben!
Ben, "team player" is how I always describe myself. That ties into my sports fandom. When it comes to being willing and able to mentor newer people, that's largely like when a veteran quarterback in the NFL, serves as a mentor and tutor to a young, promising, up-and-coming quarterback. I was born in 1973, so I'm old, but back in the day when the NBA had true legitimate centers, veteran centers who could mentor rookie and young centers, was very valuable.
My employer is conducting lays off, and I'm scheduled to be laid off this November. I'm now looking for jobs so I'm watching your videos to better prepare for interviews I have coming up soon. You are providing really good information that I plan to use, so fingers crossed, I land something soon.
You have helped me more than you know! You are by far the best ! Thank you for doing these amazing videos. I’m about to have an interview and I’m hopeful to land the position!❤
Thank you Ben. This helps a lot
I just found your channel and I find your info golden.
Excellent channel, Ben. I am a new subscriber. Thank You!
Great video! I got a career, not just a job! Very excited! Definitely tell them you Want the job and how you qualify.
Great video. I went on a job interview and the hiring attorney said that he was impressed with the interview. Even so, someone else might beat me out. At least I did my best and had a great interview. They are still interviewing, so we shall see.
Thank you very much!
Amazing thank you ❤❤❤
Hi Ben - have just come across your videos and found them REALLY helpful! But have you done any on writing CV's and Cover letters? What advice would you give [from a recruiter's perspective]. Thanks!
Great video
Thank you for this! I just finished a interview I really REALLY want and need, and I was scared that all my likes and ums killed the interview… I get REALLY nervous in interviews and my Brain can’t think as fast as I can talk. I do my best to stop and take a breath but I put a LOT of pressure on myself and I get back to being nervous . So I took WAY too many posses. But this helped reassure me that I did everything I could and I did everything right! All these points I did at some point. (For the past week I studied, memorized and practiced interviewed with my family, I would have gone longer but I only had a week from when I had the interview offer) I got really worried because I left thinking that they went all too interested. But after watching a few of these videos I think I’m just being too harsh on myself. Because they did do things that u said was a good sign in other videos and I genuinely do want this job. I relly feel passionate about it! It would open so many doors for me just in my life… I’d be financially stable for the first time ever and it would feel so amazing to just buy food again! I’m just so excited for this job and tiered of being disappointed… I’ve had opportunities like this before where I do just as much if not more and the interview went even better. But still got ghosted or told no. I just hope I get it this time!
8:14 hmm.. not something i can use when applying to jobs in biomedical research, but other points really great!
Thanks
This was amazing☺️
