Read Ezekiel chapters 38-39, Gog is a title for a leader of a country equivalent to modern Russia, that leads an alliance including Iran and Turkey, etc. against Israel.. God stops it.. Islam does not win. It was God that caused Israel to be led into captivity for their iniquity, and God that brought them back, just as it will be God that causes Gog to come against them, and God that defeats him in the northern invasion.. and then you see that at least a part of Israel returns to him and is restored as a remnant, and they are in the land already at that point. God destroys Israel's enemies and lets the Antichrist take credit to form a false peace and begin the 7 Year Tribulation.. then God returns at Armageddon and crushes the Antichrist.. Ezekiel + Rev. + Jesus Christ is God and paid the price of sin as a free gift to all that believe it. Salvation is by grace through faith, not works or religion.
