2:57 it's because you destroyed the upper volume button then it got permanently stuck inside (if you look closely you can see also display animation also stuck near the upper volume button). So Volume Up + Lock button wouldn't do anything.

2:28 If you look closely at the left side, you can see the volume up button appears to be still pressed in according to the screen indention animation when pressing the volume up button. Probably it's likely why the power button was "not working".
