Hi, really enjoyed you video, especially at the end where you share your thoughts and perspectives on unemployment. I’m a 54 year old man and in the same boat. I like how you have made peace with your situation and decided to enjoy your time that you have missed. I’m into 6 months of being unemployed and for me it’s been a roller coaster. The biggest challenge is within yourself, fighting depression. You seem to be a strong and resilient person and I envy you. Thank you for your time and good luck. I’m from Chicago too!

I think the hardest part is transitioning in or out of work. I went from full time work to studying full time and I found I ended up having so much more time that I picked up a part time job to at least do "something", you know? But I get anxious thinking of going back to full time work again now, because I feel like I will have no time at all after that. Thanks for filming the update :)

Girl I work and get up early in the morning and I'm still not a morning person Lol...It may not be that you're a procrastinator. When you work full time, it's hard to come home and do house work or purging and stuff like that. Then on the weekends you just want to try and have a little fun after working all week long. At least I know that't the case for me. So now you have the time AND energy to do those things. Well that's good that you can still move forward with selling and getting a new home....tfs

You make me want to re-retire. I seemed to have gotten bored after a while. You will find you don't need all those things. I just had a yard sale in my neighborhood association's yard sale. I made $1250. I want to free myself from so much stuff. It is very freeing. Enjoy your time, when you've had enough you will do something else. I only work part time 3 or 4 hours a day.
