I played the flute since 5th grade and I'm still playing. honestly, Michelle did pretty good for a first timer and Mckenzie was a pretty good "most affordable" and "unqualified" teacher.

she made such a big deal that saxophone was so hard but I actually think flute is harder. Like she was making a pretty consistent sound with the sax and her flute tone didn't come out half the time. I think the reason is cuz the sax teacher was actually a sax player whereas the flute teacher taught hot cross buns as B, B flat, A 😂 and also the song she learned on sax had harder fingerings and airstream changes. But anyway welcome to the music gang Michelle! We're happy to have you!

As a trumpet player (only for one year so far), Michelle is doing very well for day one. I wasn't able to properly blow out my mouthpiece alone (like in 2:22) and make multiple tunes on it without struggling in my first week. Good job Michelle!

I started playing the flute in 5th grade and I have loved it ever since. I practice almost everyday and am probably the best in my section. I chose the flute because I loved the way it looked and sounded and I got so happy when I saw you playing it! If anyone has ever considered playing, I would totally recommend!!! ❤😊

As a singer you did really good compared to some people I know in my choir when I was younger since they didn’t even sing and I can understand singing is probably one of the most nerve wracking instruments. Mostly singing is confidence and you did really well at that!
