@BryherScudamore

I too started my own business after 40 years of working for other people. At the age of 60, I risked everything and put my life savings into starting autodotbiography, an online system that makes it easy for anyone to create a beautifully written and lavishly illustrated book of their life story for their family. It is a joy and a privilege to run my business.

@jumpingkangaru1088

Need more 40+ entrepreneurs highlighted. We are a youth obsessed society. That needs to shift. We need to be more balanced in our outlook.

@rainbowgryphon

Really inspiring! Our society is so youth-oriented that too many people don't even want to see or hear older people. They want to pretend they don't exist! We need to hear more from people at advanced ages. Maybe that will help our society be less afraid of aging!

@fixedops123

I started sort of earlier than you, 60, and built two companies that now support us. Paul Tasner, if you see this put me on the list of your older entrepreneur network. Great Ted Talk.

@404now

Thank you for doing this talk. The thought of the approaching 50's, 60's, and 70's is terrifying to most of us. We are not just afraid of getting old, we are afraid of losing our jobs because we're old. Even though we are old, we're still going to need to be financially stable and sustain our own lives until we're gone. This gives hope.

@keithwilliams662

This really helps me,i'm 68 years old,been driving trucks over the road for over 40 years,retirement is not an option for me,i just have to find something i'm passionate about

@mfgreviews5028

Once you make it you realize the struggles, failures and being betrayed was necessary. It makes you unstoppable. Enjoy the journey of ups and lows it's the most memorable part of your story once you get to where you know you're going.

@MindBodyCoachTheresa

Wow, just found this vid! YES and AMEN!! I just turned 60 and just now life has turned in my favor to open the doors to the resources I've needed to be able to start the business I've been dreaming of for over 30 years while in turn having 30 years experience. Literally I am an untapped gold mine. Just now learning the ins and outs of online business, plus expanding my local business. Some of us are late bloomers, but I'm more than ready. Like a fine wine that's been aging a long time and is finally at it's peak and ready for market. 🥰

@ddlfspaff3097

Great story! I was let go from a JOB a few months ago and I will not go back. Im 46 and am in start up mode for 2 businesses. It's been tough but I will NOT give an employer my life.

@MartaWyngaard

To be happy at what you do and feel that your contribution is meaningful, WOW it is the best feeling. Congratulations!

@siat11

Experience is everything. Nothing can replace that. When you're younger with a degree, fresh out of school, you're missing something substantial. Experience. That is gold!

@Dazarabia522

What a hero. So motivational

@denny5977

Thank you so much for sharing your entrepreneurship journey at the age wich most people have lost their passion. It is so inspiring. I'm very grateful to have found your talk today. Wish you good health, happiness and successes.

@DeniseSchnell

Thank you for sharing your journey! I would like to hear more from you.

@LetsDoBetterNow

Such a powerful journey! And what an amazing business! I’m 30 years old and will be starting my own firm soon along side a minuscule youtube career 😃 so there is home for me 😀

@shansmith7100

Stumbled across this......I am 39 with a daughter graduating next year only child so I’ll have time on my hands. I’d love to start my own business but my mind has me thinking I’m too old. This is very inspiring.

@談珈維老爹或威廉老爸

It’s so motivating and meaningful for seniors that was laid-off by your company, because of age issue. You can found your own start-up business just like Paul, best luck to the seniors worldwide including me. I like the words: You’re never too late to stop dreaming, good luck!

@PersonalPower

damn the title in itself is already an inspiration, cant wait to get through this talk lol

@1414charlotte

I am doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing your story. I thought I was alone in this as well.

@NicolaGrace

This is what real entrepreneurs do. They take action on new ideas implementing principles to their projects and always moving on from that comfort zone.
