We went to the Caribbean in 2010. Our little excursion into Honduras was beyond fantastic. This beautiful little girl came running up to me with a handful of vanilla pods in her tiny hands. She wanted a dollar! I only had a $5 on me or Iโd have given her $50!!! She was at first alarmed and I think it was because she thought sheโd need to give me change. Once I convinced her to take the $5 bill, she became very animated and THRILLED as she ran away with an American $5 and a huge smile on her face. That vanilla was probably something she picked out of her backyard but we both left HAPPY!! Our cabin on the ship smelled DIVINE for days. It was absolutely one of the more amazing things that happened to me on a vacation.๐โค I scored probably $100 of vanilla for a mere $5. It was priceless to me doing the โtransactionโ with a beautiful 5 year young child. โค๐

Don't put peppermint, even wrapped, in any container with cookies,cakes or chocolate. It transfers that taste to the food items.

Good ideas. I make my infused olive oil with rosemary, garlic and pink hymilansalt. No cooking needed. You can also make an infused olive oil with oregano garlic and pink hymilan salt.

Cake mix cookies baked and then use an Andes mint chocolates rubbed on top while hot from oven makes a lovely treat for someone as well! Just a thought, teachers, bus drivers and doctors offices/ hospital nursing stations all love edible treats. Candy, Chocolate, Cookies, even coffees and teas for break time. As well, teachers love a gift card for a treat at a coffee shop, Christmas cookies, or gift card for school supplies from, Staples, Hobby Lobby, or Dollar Stores. Merry Christmas ๐
