@someothercharacter

I attempted to wake up every day for an entire year. Worst year of my life.

@Kittyzero13426

I stay up late to read books because waking up to do it is too tough for me.

@jackielowrey3032

I’d rather stay up late than wake up early any day. Reading after my husband and son have gone to sleep is my prime time!

@chayappleford2602

Doing an 800+ page book in 4 days is serious going. Great video again Ian, your book content is the best on YouTube.

@jessicaadams3364

I do most of my reading in the morning. I drink my coffee and read for an hour before going to work. I’ve been doing it for about a year and a half now, I so much enjoy getting my reading time in every morning now.

@TheArtfulBrittani

So you did the Early Bird Challenge. Next do a Night Owl Challenge! πŸ˜„ You could read ALL the Stephen King Horror books that you haven't gotten around to....because it will be nighttime and spoooky.

@culkyy7489

Hey Ian just want to say last 2 years for me have been awful constantly feeling down in the dumps and having negative thoughts, but ever since I have came across your channel, it’s helped me sit back chill and feel like someone is there just talking to me about something they love which is great to me, it’s also helped me get back in to reading which has helped my mental health massively. I just want to say thank you for all the help you have given me without you even knowing it.

@Elijah_Gillard

That first book sounds so interesting, added to the tbr

@danielarosindo

I'm just as insane. One Saturday this month I woke up at about 8 and from then until midday read two 500+ pages books....... I need psychiatric help πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

@andybarker8787

I do this in the summer. Here in the Uk from May to August it’s full daylight by 5 am so getting up is so much easier. Conversely in Dec to feb I try to sleep until 9am each day. Hate getting up in the dark.

@ArronSturgeonPaintings-so2xc

Mornings are great for both reading and writing. The mind is fresh.

@cmdavis1976

Hi Ian, i am not sure what you consider a short read, but I recommend The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle. It runs around 250 pages, dependiing on which version you get.It's been a while since I read it, but as I recall it's a beautifully written tale of a unicorn who seeks others like her, fearing they are all gone from the world. Along the way she meets some very interesting individuals who aid her in her quest and she learns a lot about humanity and their ways. It was turned into an animated film in the early 1980s with a stellar voice cast. It's one of my favorite films ever. 😊

@merandabubbles1124

Christine!!!! It is my newest favorite Stephan King! And she has been haunting me for the past two weeks. I am a musician and a band that opened for us was paking their red drums up. The sun came out, and those drums caught my eye. I asked the drummer...is your drum set Autumn Red? He hesitated and said yes. I said, "Thats Christine's color", he laughed and said he knew as soon as I asked, because I wasn't the first person so see it lol.

@denyse8796

I never thought King was for me, but you convinced me to read 11.22.63 and Christine is on my 25/'25 list because of you, so im glad to see you read it.

@Rhys-Lightning

I've been doing this for decades. Reading in the morning when your brain is fresh instead of after work just makes more sense. You retain more. I leave the house at 530, beat the traffic, get to the cafe at 6, read until 815, then walk across the road to work

@MamaBookFox

I know it's a struggle to wake up early, but I have found it to be so worth it. However, I tried waking up early to read (my Bible or a different book), but I kept falling asleep. Then Ashlynn inspired me to do reading walks and now thats what I do :) makes a huge difference in my day.

@jessicablack

Anytime I'm in a reading slump I watch you and Ash and I'm ready to read again!!

@WRam-fo2sc

10:01. This short scene of you. Chilling. Great job filming. 🎦

@theferallibrarian

Christine was the first King book I read, back in... 1986? I was nine years old.
Maine kids know Mr. King from early ages.
