I have been trading for two years, and trading futures for a year, and found this video on volume profiles EXTREMELY helpful. I already had session volume profiles on one of my charts (from training I had previously received), but no value area was highlighted, nor did it have a candlestick to show open/close and direction--and so I did not find them of much use. But then I set them up (as you showed) with a 40% value overlay (actually 38%--half a standard deviation), and a candlestick showing open/close and direction, and changed them to show one profile/candle every 8 hours, so that I get two profiles for the overnight session and one for RTH. I started then to identify (as you instructed) whether each shows a bullish, bearish, or neutral bias, and WOW... now these volume profiles provide me very useful information, and filled a big gap in my training/setup. Thanks so much for this instructive and valuable video, and keep up the great work!

Hey Adam! I've been watching your videos on volume and this video I've watched 20 times by now. I paper trade the NQ specifically the micros. Your advice was beautifully displayed today 2/1/2024 on the charts with TPO layovers because I'm on tradingview. I used the tpo 1 day interval on the 4 hour chart and switched to the 1 hour on the 1-5 min timeframe. Watched volume for confirmations. Drew some wedge lines after the market set a higher high and higher low. Chart rose the wedge and broke out above on the previous day POC with increased volume and BOOM. You're amazing for this video. Honestly, thank you. I finally get the contextual setups you've been trying to drill into everyone
