I'm so glad I was alive back then to enjoy this band β€οΈ a teenager matter of fact !πΆππ»β¨
I miss this kind of music and Prince...
I remember being a little boy and seeing Prince and The Time on the marquee at First Ave in downtown Minneapolis. Those days were just pure magic.
Reporting from the year 2122, still playing this
Morris is a living Legend. Yeeeeeees π
I love that we can hear Prince all over this. I loved seeing Prince sing C~O~O~L liveππππ. Beautiful Prince, Morris & The Time Memories. Jerk Out is another fav of mine ππππ. We love & miss U Prince πππππππ
Jesse Johnson, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis all in one band. Wow.
I tell you, the Minneapolis Sound was truly something to witness and love.
How can a song nearly 45 years old STILL be Bumpin today???
Man as I got older to really appreciate the ingenuity of music and production , Prince and his team were second to none they created there own sound and genre pretty much from scratch they didnβt sound like anyone but everyone tried to sound like them, they were 1,000 percent ahead of theyβre time and the results are timeless music, til this day no one has even come close to making an impact on music like this. Itβs a no brained for me they were best to ever do it, and itβs a fact and should be non debatable.
The best kind of music back in the day!! I used to jam out to the Time a lot. I really miss the great music from back then! Great memories π
π’ i miss this era
Morris took those lead vocals to another level! Prince mightve sung background and written it, but Morris killed it!
My Favorite Class Roomππ―βπΎ
This song should have billions of views. Every human on Earth should've listened to it at least a minimum of 10 times.
my jam, Morris Day he is just awesome!. I was 15 years old when this song came out. They donβt make music like this anymore.
Love hearing prince in the vocals !!!!!!
Absolutel CLASSIC and yes you can here Prince all in this song and many other Time classic.
They really need to be in the Rock n Roll hall of fame, people don't realize that they are a real band.
