I was about spend some cash to purchased Wifi extenders when I remembered this video when I found an old wifi router laying in a box. Helped me bring wifi to my new Rheem water heater in the garage. Thank you Dong!
The tape on the network port is the most important part of this tutorial, I've made a AP with an old router just like this on my job and didn't used the tape, it took less than a week for someone mess with the router and plug the cable in the wrong port after
finally someone, who explains the process without taking a 30 min video. This was clear and concise and really helpful. Worked first time for me. Thank you
I like this Guy .. not long winded and straight to the point ..great job man !
“And the ladies love a connected home” me, a lady watching to connect my home. “He’s not wrong!”
I’m stuck on step 1 I don’t have a tape...
I learned ladies only want me for my Wi-Fi
I did everything and it didn't work :( I then used heavier tape (Duct tape) on the ethernet port... Works like a charm. Please people use the right type of tape if you want this to work.
"Why? that's how networking work". I've had teachers like that in high school
I know its a reupload, but I still watched it because of Dong Ngo.
I have a BrightBox router and also had to change mode from PPPoE to Routing. I tried it like 5 times with just changing the settings you mentioned, and it didn’t work. It didn’t even boot. I always had to do a hard reset. Now I switched this mode to routing and works great! Thanks so much :-)
What's more beautiful is that you can access the configuration page of any of the two routers on any wireless connection they stream

Keep up the great work my friend cuz I Dong Ngo what I'd do without you!!!
