I have to use both -- I embed my Shopify Products into my Squarespace store. This is because... Squarespace cannot automate local sales tax. Its a really big problem and it means that you literally cannot run a legal business unless you are on their "beta test" with Taxjar, but taxjar will end up costing you $99/month.

Excellent video but I think it's important to mention that not all of Shopify's features such as Shopify payments are available to everyone. For e. g I live in România and I can't use this feature so for me it's down to PayPal only or a third party payment gateway (which is a pain in the ass to set up). For everyone, just take all these things I to consideration and do your research
