I don't really think she was upto the mark Edit: Let me clarify and tell why I said this! Because accordingly as she is now applying for naval entry she should least collect some knowledge about how the Navy works, name of few ships mostly used during times of need nd so on (least some basic knowledge) and also being a defense aspirant you should have the knowledge about the current affairs of it.. It doesn't matter wheather you want to join -Army, Navy or Air Force! You should have the updates of each..sir asked the most basic questions which normal people who aren't even aspirants would know! Like bout the aircraft carrier one, recently it was commissioned, The INS Vikrant Or Vikramaditya(as far as i remember it's one of them,if i am wrong pardon me nd correct me please) Genuinely speaking she ain't even a defense aspirant I guarantee you! Reason: firstly she has no knowledge bout defense nd also she said that after college she decided to join defense, which clearly shows that the aspirancy was not from childhood (teenage years) so thereby she do not carry that crazyness a aspirant actually should carry nd carries with them.. Nd she actually do not either want to join for patriotism (during the interview one can easily make it out that she is not the kind of patriot indian defense Forces look for! The madness to die-fight-live) she looks upto it as a profession, just as a job so that she can just earn some nd that's it!pardon me for saying that.. Definitely he is a experienced person,a retired personall nd knows better than me.. But as an audience that's my cup of opinion :)
