well, we are all waiting for the first official public point-to-point terminals, when and where?
I don't see why everyone is so negative about this concept. I'm really looking forward to this and I think it could help revolutionize travel.
When it’s going to be completed?
I hope there will be more pods in each convoy or the throughput is going to be quite low.
Just like a train but with separate small pods, lower capacity, lower safety and with zero Direct emissions. Amazing. Waaaaooow
Absolutely. This is one the greatest concepts ever devised. Engineering with advancements formed in the 21st century. Great. The single pods available on demand is a clear defining advantage to this system. Crail to Paris intercontinental terminals will boost our perception of what travel should be. The sea bed between these two destinations sits at a steady 95 meters. Direct underwater transport will redefine our understandings of travel times across the globe 🌍 I’d far rather get to Paris in thirty minutes than eight hours, wouldn’t you? It’s a sure winner.
I’ll believe it when I see it. I still see the same security concerns similar to a airport with long lines and delays in boarding. On a positive note, weather would not affect operations.
What year can we see this?..
Diesel trains, commuter trains, electric trains, passenger trains, freight trains, light rail trains and more.
Except that the Risks are tripled in a vacuum like that.
It can't work. The physics of pulling a vacuum in a thousand mile long tube are just insane. And, if you give up on the vacuum, you're just left with... a train.
What year it’s going to be completed?
This is so 21st century. Looking forward to 30th century with Futurama's travel tubes!
Why is Virgin doing this are they only doing the audio or did they make the train. it's a little confusing because last I know virgin was a record company that helped Smashing Pumpkins in the 90s and I love that band so I know who it is. what are they doing on this train? are they just doing the voice audio or did they help make the train?
Fascinating but this could take 15+ years to achieve maybe even more
Let me guess? they're looking for another round of funding to squander on this unfeasible concept and to pay the salaries of the executives?
CGI needed to prop up the share price and bait investors
So,..I'm 33 now, when will this be completed? When I'm 64? Cause y'all moving too slow...
I don't remember explaining Hyperloop....
