I’m down $137k this year, scared my bank or brokerage will fail. Savings are dwindling due to high prices and debt.
In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns. But my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy.
If you want to be a millionaire in Canada, start with a billion.
Thank you to Mrs. Felicia.
Bringing on guests with different specialties and technical knowledge (on different products) to contribute on the channel really does add great value to your viewers and says plenty about your honesty and integrity! Thanks Adam!
Can you cover canadian espp accounts? I work for CP rail and we get up to 6% matched contributions but im wondering if its more efficient to withdraw stocks every couple of years to invest in better returning stocks but im gonna be hit with a ton of weird capitol gain taxes
Excellent insights, especially for those who are new to investment world and wants to start. Thanks
Damn I think you have one of the best finance channels for Canada! Your videos are well structured and everything is explained so clearly!
Wow, I'm shocked you mentioned Felicia, I thought I was the only one interacting with her.
Thank you, Adam, for your videos - you are so clear in your explanations, which is truly appreciated! Very helpful for someone who is pretty much financially illiterate. I am learning. Will try to get my 2 young adult children to watch your videos, as well.
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
Hi Adam, first off, really appreciate you taking the time to publish your videos as my partner and I have found them extremely valuable. We are always excited when a new vid drops. There is always something valuable I pick up when viewing. We are following your advice and feel we are in good shape however we are 7 years out till retirement so most definitely will be setting up a plan with you in a couple of years. Thx again sir!
Mark what can I do? I have been disabled since 2009 and I am 58 years old at the verge of retirement. My portfoliio of $750k is down to $492k, How can I profit from the present market" , I mean I've heard of people making upto $250k in couple weeks during this crash and I'd like to know how.
TFSA is a gift... Yet I know so many people who have not opened one. TFSA-Tax Free Savings Account should be renamed to Tax-Free Investment Account. Leaving your TFSA as a savings account is ok, but investing can make you large gains, including dividends.
Adam, forwarded this to my cousin in her early 50"s. Hopefully she will look at it. She knows very little at this point and this is an excellent base for her to start from to start learning....if she chooses. Thank you Adam!💯🇨🇦
14 million Canadians have TFSA accounts and 10% of this population have maxed out their TFSA contribution. 65.5% Canadians have RRSP but don't know how many have maxed out with RRSP contribution.
This is a good vid to watch to set up for the strategy Parallel Wealth phone call scheduled soon👍☺
Useful and simple talk!!
All of this sounds good but how do you put untaxed money into an account if your income is already taxed by your employer?
