This is kind of lore accurate aswell, Cartwheel has been fighting for decades now, so she have already mastered how to use her forte, while Jinhsi just had her recent power up, she is still a baby in terms of experience, give her time and she will become like Cartwheel

To be fair Cartethyia probably had a power boost being boosted by the Threnodian. Since Imperator is supposed to Aero but we're also seeing watery abyss in her skill effect

I mean the jhinsi skin was amongst the first thing they ever tested special backgrounds on so its mor comparable to her skin now tbh. I know we're judging based on the base, but if we're realistic, jinhsi is how they introduced the backgrounds

One thing I love is how they both strike a similar "Summoning the Sentinel's power" pose, with Jinshi creating her massive embodiment of Jué and Cartethyia transitioning to her Fleurdelys form. They also both have indicators of their respective Sentinel, with Jinshi's dragon horns and Fleurdelys's unicorn horn (as well as her dress emulating Leviathan's fish tail rather than it being a physical manifestation, showing that it's not originally part of the Sentinel)

The whole thing is that Cartethiya is able to use A LOT more resonance energy than most resonators. They took full advantage of that part of her lore and I LOVE it.

I'd say I prefer both. When I first played Jihnsi I was at awe at how beautiful the 2nd skill activation was that I thought it was her liberation and felt wonderfully surprised that her resonance liberation was equally gorgeous. Seeing Carthy's animations, although we don't have the full scoop officially, has me feeling the same way. 🎉
