Breastfeeding is very magic! I work in the emergency care department and we had a very sick child come in. They weren't calming down no matter what fun tricks I did. Mom breastfed and BOOM happy baby.
I was soooo excited to see you again! You are the best mamma, and I adore you. Please come back as often as you can. There's just something very special & endearing about you. Your little twin Wade is a doll and as precious as he can be. I can't wait to see "dada look-alike" Theo, progress. And I love his name.🩵 Wade's name just suits like to a tee. Was your breast-feeding magic for when the baby's got their shots at the doctor too??
I was glad you mentioned that if you are not in a good place emotionally or otherwise then it is ok to stop. Some moms put so much pressure on themselves to keep going when they are not doing ok, especially during pregnancy. Your babies are beautiful! Wade will be ok, your little one needs that golden liquid and attention and you will see Wade take off growth wise, it's all good things!
I miss that emotional person from being a young Mom. So much love and emotion inside our bodies in this stage. I wish I could have had the second. My son is grown up and I find I miss those intense love moments. So, don’t feel bad for those tears, it means you are in a great stage of life, no matter your age. ❤❤❤❤❤ I think you are so lucky. I wanted the second and would have had one in my 40s.
My breastfeeding journey was very different with my 2 boys. My first son was in the NICU for the first 2 weeks and we struggled with latching and really we were learning together. I had to supplement with formula but we made it to about 5 months. With my 2nd I went in knowing so much more and it was much smoother and lasted 2 years. I used to feel so guilty that I was not as successful the first time. But now I realize I can't blame myself for not knowing what I didn't know. When a baby is born so is a mom and you both learn and grow together. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Thanks for the video, what a great way to count in days 😊 I’m on Day 1415, and my second child is 10 months old 🥰
Tears are also part of this journey, so please dont feel you have to make excuses. Thank you for this video❤
Thank you for being raw and real. Your advice is so helpful.
I’m pregnant with my second little one, due in July! My first is 10 years old and my breastfeeding journey ended at 2 months. I’m praying this journey goes a lot better and I’m able to nurse as long as possible!
Such a beautiful story of your journey breast feeding. Thank you for sharing!
Such fabulous information available now. So cool. My breastfeeding journey was over 20 years ago.
That was so fun to hear! My now 3 year old son also stopped breastfeeding a couple months ago and it was difficult for me! Even though i really was ready for it to be over. Still nursing my one year old, so im curious what te the number of my breastfeeding days are lol. Gonna look it up right now!
We had 3 kiddos and all combined I nursed for 7 1/2 years … we hardly missed any sleep because we co-slept or early on when they were new borns, we would have them right next to the bed in an attached co-sleeper crib(I can’t remember the name , but it attached to our mattress) .. & I just had a very dim light I could turn on but did a lot if possible with no light (even diaper changes , lol) and all our kids were great sleepers and not early risers either (thank you Jesus !! lol)
I understand your tears. I cried when I weaned as well.
Wow!!! The generators change!!! I'm older but definitely stop letting baby get milk about 6-8 WEEKS at night!!!! And sleep through the night! Definitely do what works for mom and baby ❤❤
I loved breast feeding and yes It was difficult to start😮 But 5 babies later 😊
The APA now advises nursing until two years It is much harder to have to deal with bottles in the middle of the night and when going out. If there is a lot of pain need to check baby for ties and proper latch
My mom breastfed all six of her children. She never pumped. Is there an advantage to pumping while breastfeeding?
