If I was to start all over, I would start with this.

Sometimes you don’t know how much you will like skateboarding. Sometimes you just want to test things out. This is the best board for a beginner imo. Then you can upgrade parts if you want to get better.

I think the most important thing is to just get started.

As an old head I appreciate your channel bro. Giving the beginner's some where to go for trick tips, product reviews and all. Keep up the good work my young brother, as for the setup I agree but I would recommend people going ahead and getting a too truck brand instead. But yes, ccs everything else!👍

Most beginners don’t understand it has nothing to do with the parts it’s all about practice. Just like you can have the most expensive skate shoes on the market but it’s still not gonna make you a better skater. You’ve got to put those hours in.

CCS was even a great online shop twenty years ago when i started skating, and i just picked up this exact complete from them. If you order from their site you can put whatever parts you want in it, even make your own graphics on the decks. They sell brand name gear too. Good online shop

You can even check thrift stores for boards, you might find a shitty deck but super good trucks. Or a nice deck with okay trucks. I skate on a thrifted deck with thrifted trucks from a different deck which is now hanging up on my wall because it has the crimson ghost on the grip tape.

Gotta go with a Cal7 board, that’s what I’ve put all my boys on. $60 completes, sweet design, really solid parts. I’ve owned 2 in the past and both were great

i got the CCS forr $74. They had a deck which had a polished wood decal so it looks like it wasn't even painted. You get more options online too.
