AI might lead to two opportunities for developer work. Possibly opportunity 1: opportunity for devs that become good at exploiting the common security vulnerabilities that AI code creates. Possible opportunity 2: opportunity for devs that become good at fixing the common security vulnerabilities that AI code creates and dealing with panicking CEOs.

One strategy is to be well-versed in Cybersecurity, especially application security. AI is excellent at producing (or using) vulnerable code. When all hell breaks loose, you'll be in demand. Hacker, both black and white hats, will love the companies that replace their developers with AI.

Can’t wait till all the AI hype dies, it’s going to be decades to centuries before AI is able to write code on its own on par with what an actual person would write. Problems get expensive when the code base reaches a certain size and the ai will just not know what to do and writes garbage code
