According to Huberman, the 5min breaks should be filled with a non focused task: the brain doesnt differenciate between focusing on sth fun vs Studying, its all focus. Instead you can give the brain a break by defocussing, by looking at the sky for example.

@kirtinagvanshi8275

I also use pomodoro sometimes (50/10) but don't use you mobile phone in that break instead take a light walk or make a coffee for yourself and if you want to use your phone then just watch videos related to study (this won't distract you instead it will give you motivation to work harder)

@fianax9526

Your setup is so cute and motivating

@XsynnyrX

It definitely helps you value your time more

@MayTheBlessingsBeWithYou

everybody is unique. 20 min is 100% for me. 40 min. is 200%. i like pomodoro, sometimes i do more sometimes less, but i also add movement in after the break for 2-3 minutes. and that works quite effectively for me. but as i change, my methods change. but most importantly, the work is done, with a morally good concience. take care and god bless.

@maryamfaziazam4356

Im scared the 5 minutes break turn into one hour 🫢

@Aisha-yu5ui

Thank you you really helped me understand pomodoro technique just with youre 1 video

@Nannimoo27

The 5 min break should be phone-free like just close your eyes

@Just_Hana29

I do a 1 hour study and 10 minutes break to eat, listen to music and such, infact im on my 10 min break right now
I do 60/10 Because I find it hard to get back in the study mood after a break
I found 60/10 to be easier for me
After doing this 4 times, i take a 25 minute break and watch a anime/ k-drama episode as my treat for completing 4 hrs of study
Usually after repeating this 8 times, aka total of 8 hours of study abd 1 hour 25 min break
I exercise or go to play a sport for anywhere from 25-50 minutes to refresh myself so i can start again

@karenromano8476

I'm a ADHD so for me pomodoro it's really hard to use, but I adapt it by what I'm doing and how much I like what I'm doing, if it's something that I enjoy I do a long time + a short break, if I don't like it's a short time follow by a long break, example: I love study biology so I can do a pomodoro of 50/5, but with math (that I hate a little) I do 20/10.

@MayTheBlessingsBeWithYou

you should also have a study lamp or sth else that is only on your desk while studying, that way you are conditioned to focus when its there. students who did this had, according to prof. marty lobdell, an average of 1 grade of a better grade after 1 semester, like they had a 3 before and a 2 after on an average grade. take care and god bless.

@Nowhatsgoingon11222

I used this for my graduation exam to learn all the subjects and it was really helpful
Now as I’m approaching University I need the pomodoro method again for my everyday life as I can’t waste time anymore: university, two jobs(one online and in person), singing lessons
It’s really useful
But now I have a better sleeping routine I know I won’t get burned out

@Thelifeisblueprint

At first i was a bit confused about the definition of pomodoro, then i found this video of yours. it really helped me to adjust my schedule much more effectively. it's great to be able to encounter useful videos like this 😂😂😂

@Roseeeeeeeee

In the break, instead of being on ur phone it’ll be better to give ur brain a break too, so walk around a little, think some useless stuff and just clean ur mind of a sec. You’ll notice that on the focus you’ll be able to get so much more done

@LorenzoCorrado19

Did you know: pomodoro means tomato in italian

@wstudywithme

Yess👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@zenox1ns

And the 5 minute break becomes 5 hours after watching ut shorts 💀

@Iangirlwithluv

It works well ❤

@madiiskrip

if you struggle with going back to your work after the break.. instead of getting on your phone instead go do a chore like laundry or vacuuming just something that gets you moving and still in the productive mindset

@MasterLuda97

love the song choice.. <3
