I’m about 7 mins into the video, and ive just realised how little I thought ai knew about coding lol. I think maybe a disclaimer needs to be put on these videos so that the common person who wants to learn doesn’t feel alienated by all this coding lingo. I’m here to learn tho lol
I'm so proud of everything you guys have achieved. (including the marketing team)
Replit is undervalued, this tool COMPLETELY shatters the barrier to entry
This is assuming I know so much
What I learned is that I need to look for a Replit expert to create things for me. Hahaha!
Excellent video, thank you! Keep them coming!
I was thinking this was a basic explanation of Replit. I was lost after 1 min.
🤕Bruuh.. I appreciate it. But I am a total rookie and saw a video from the Replit inventor. I am super stoked. But here is the issue with your getting started video. I am a total rookie, meaning. I have absolute zero knowledge, about Pythons, shells, working in consoles, commands, and what the heck else is in the background running. Point Blank. I know nothing. I thought, I could use Replit just with AI? As my buddy, I am telling Replit in the prompt what I want to create. Like an interactive communication, so I don't need to know anything of all the stuff you showed. Flasks, etc. all the language you are using.... I have no clue what it means and it would take me some serious time to learn all of this. Do you perhaps have a getting started video with Replit for folks with zero coding experience? I mean it, like zero, like sub-zero! Thank you so much, appreicate it!
thanks so much for the video :)
Yeah this isn't "beginner" enough for me. I need the most basic I can get at this point.
When I go to Replit website the page does not look anything even close to what you show. There is no create blank. There is an Ai that said I have 3 free Apps. It ask what I want to do and so much info flew by on right side of screen not sure what so there went #1. Then I typed numA = 3 like the Intro to Python LinkedIn video said and pressed enter but it didn't let me type next line, instead it made second app called something like Numbers so there went #2.
I hate it so much that everyone in coding or math ALWAYS assumes NOTHING has to be explained and everyone is a pro already. What a waste of time.
Wow. I wanted to use Replit to create a small app with the help of their AI and to understand the UI. I thought that was what a Getting Started tutorial would be. Instead I am dumped into Python, installing packages and coding details I have no idea about. I just want to know how to use the interface.
Great Video - Thanks again for this!!!!!
So what is this video all about? Why would I want to use this app? How is it actually useful in the real world? What is the ultimate purpose of this app? Having watched this video I still have no idea at all what the app is for..
Replit might be used for very simple applications, but it reaches very soon limits and if it is starting with problems, then it is really hard to solve them. It's try and error and often very simple tasks can not be solved anymore. With these endless loops, I have used my monthly 25.- in one and a half day and have nothing, which could be used. So do not expect to much and prepare to use a lot of nervs and patience! 🥴
Hello, I created my project, it works perfectly in the preview. But after deploying, I've been asking the agent for review for 3 days, it's been reviewed about 100 times, I've used other AIs to find the error, and I can't solve it. I've already spent more than $100.00. I don't know what to do anymore. I watch videos on YouTube, that the deployment works correctly, but mine doesn't...
any chance you guys have some documentation on how to use things like docker or redis on replit? Seems like the environment isn't easy to workaround for things like that
One question.if i make a succesful app whit 1000's of users. Will my replit app will still be able to support this?
