I'm in tech now but I left teaching to do it. Since leaving teaching I REFUSE to spend my money on work stuff - if my bosses want me to have decent audio they will buy me a good mic, as is I have the basic (~$30) headset the company bought in bulk at the start of the pandemic.

Love the sailor moon background and as someone who also works from home 100% agree w this. You have to make your office comfortable or you find yourself getting up every 5 minutes or at the end of the day w neck/shoulder and back pain.

As someone who also works in tech from home, I felt this sooooo hard. My office is the best looking room in the house. I have a toddler so when I leave the office I step out into disaster 🤣 the office is the one room she's not allowed in (it's not safe. There's no feasible way to make it safe. I don't lock her out to be mean or cut her off from part of her home) but yeah. Anyway. Absolutely relatable
