She updated the video, and explains it as to why. Basic is, Solid white line, you stop if red. if not you have right of way or you crash, the pedestrian would have and should have stopped. and even then she had plenty of time to pass the light even before the pedestrian entered the lane as she was slowing as she approached the light.

@scotta3885

That whole road looks like a setup for failure on a test đź’€

@squaresound6380

woman crushes pedestrian and keeps driving

instructor: impressive

@danbull

It should be the right thing to do to stop there, because the pedestrian is likely unaware of what's going on either

@Jay-Yo92

The guy had already entered the crosswalk. She was absolutely right to stop

@Andrew-1828

If you’re unsure, play it safe. I’d rather hear a honk than a siren

@elgringo1893

That's the most horrendous light placement for the other traffic

@rubenlay610

I felt that "but why" in my soul.

@JF94-k4o

Hey! It's better to be safe than sorry!! Id rather ride with a cautious driver than an insane one!

@lucasd1646

She did the right thing, that's a safe driver reaction when in confusion it's better to stop, better getting honked by the cars behind than crashing.

@rubidyum5520

In my country , whenever a red light doesnt apply to me , im getting a massive juicy ticket 15 days after it.

@FortniteClipx10

When she said “But whyyyyyy?” I felt that

@user-eo4id2is7e

"BOT WHYY?!" Reasonable response

@Denilius123

The sincerity in the “but why!?” Kills me

@lordbox9889

Student: Drives through a red light, plowing through a pedestrian
Instructor: "Finally, someone who knows how to drive!"

@savannahs3893

All I've learned from this channel as a Canadian is that British roads are so confusing and I should be greatful for my simple roads.

@woutervanr

That's not a driver failure, that's a design failure.

@jessenunya3836

British driving be like: there's a red light and pedestrian crossing in front of you, speed up

@benjamintomassennordahl7911

Better to stop at a red light not meant for you, than to accidentally drive through one you were meant to stop at.

@JedeOff

"but why?"
don't worry girl, we're all here with you
