I was expecting a tutorial not a stand up comedy bit but I'm not disappointed jhkhgjksklk

@debbiehenri7170

I moved from Oxfordshire to Essex to Norfolk to Scotland. I don't even understand what I'm saying.

@deviniachambers6964

The fact that he dances around while doing it makes it even more amazing πŸ˜‚

@thatrandomlemondude

This man’s energy makes this video 1million times better πŸ˜‚

@hannahmcgahan8920

"Do you want a sambucaaaaaaaaa" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@LordDirus007

"Yous toos" actually is common in New York state

@TeganThrussell

Ah, so nice to learn about my heritage. I'm first gen from an Essex family line that moved to Australia. So I grew up with an Essex accent, then as I got older combined it with an Australian accent, so that no one can ever guess what it actually is.
Someone once asked if I was from New Zealand. That's how Frakenstine-ish my accent is at this point. I don't know how I get Nee Zealand from an Australia/Essex blend, but I've managed it at least once.

@leonardo_decapitated4644

lol the Essex accent always makes me laugh, it's like reminds me of the American valleygirl

@emte4236

I'm reading Glitterland, a book about a guy from London who meets a guy from Essex and they fall in love. The writer actually writes out the Essex man's words as he might pronounce them, making it much more difficult to understand what he is saying as a west coast American. I definately saw 'fink' in there as well as gehl, abaht, wif, ahwight, aht, sahnded, ect. Now I know what an Essex accent is supposed to sound like. πŸ˜† the Essex man also says 'babes' a lot when addressing people, is that normal?

@MarcusTDM

Essex has more than one accent. I sound Essex, but not like that, although some people definitely do sound like that!

@VideoDeadGaming

I'm from Essex and i can think of at least 3 different accents people use around here and none of them sound like your Southend accent

@stevehoman1633

He didn't mention Gary. He always mentions Gary. Where's Gary gone?

@leejay2418

This is gold. Now I get it. Some Essex accents are much milder than others.

@alexroche6534

Oh my god you killed me! I’m dead πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ was looking for a video to explain my accent and this is the one

@markroberts3277

I've met working class people who took elocution lessons to sound posh. It was classic Pygmalion. They still swore at the Ref, but ever so eloquently.

@bestwholeworld5276

This made me laugh harder then anything has in a long while!

@LaraRayCanada

I'm half english (essex) and half canadian and i have had SO many people think I'm australian.. its crazy!! x

@lindamay1

As someone who lived on the edge of East London and Essex I feel this is pretty accurate lol. πŸ˜ƒ

@TheCharliedean

I always get East End London and Essex accents mixed up!! Thanks for clearing up the difference.

P.S I love your stand up work

@lakeeffectmusicable

I went down a youtube rabbit hole and stumbled on this video. I love it!
