@LowReedExpert1

actually an alto horn mouthpiece works best for that, and baritone mp on a tenor

@splaytrees

For this Indian-made piccolo trumpet, the alto sax mouthpiece is a perfect fit. These are the $100 chrome-plated piccolo trumpets on eBay. This one has no marks, but I have another one that is stenciled "Tri Star". If you're interested, I can put up a buy-it-now auction on ebay for $100 for this horn you see here.

@MitchMb14

That sounds surprisingly good. Is that an Eb tuba with a trumpet mouthpiece in the background?

@traceyfraley2375

that's cool

@Daunte17

thats very interesting i wonder how that would work vise versa brass mouthpiece to sax ? hmm

@splaytrees

@MitchMb14, the lead pipe removal video is of a Carl Fischer 1/2 tuba. It's still in 2 parts and so far I've sealed one of the cracks on the leadpipe with "extra easy" silver solder and a propane torch (although extra-easy brazing still requires about 1250 F).

@nerogematria6392

please do the otherway, a trumpet mouthpiece on an alto sax

@splaytrees

@MitchMb14, In the background is an old Lyon & Healy "American Climax" tuba from the 1920's with a 28_mm Eb tuba mouthpiece. I play some false tones on it in another clip.

@MitchMb14

@u2b83 Is that the tuba that you did the leadpipe repair on in another clip?
