Definitely the best and most beautiful album of her career. Intoxicating, exotic and visual music. Her voice was just perfect for this album. Her artistry is pushed to the max. Too bad Sarah hasn't considered a sequel to Harem.

This album was absolutely influential to me when i was 18. It ignited a love affair with the middle eastern regional cultures that influenced this album that has endured for over two decades. My dad took me to her Seattle concert when she was touring for this album and I'll never forget it. It was spectacular. Now a belly dancer years later, I heard this song after years of forgetting about it existence and I instantly recall the joy, wonder, and vision this album gave me back then. It still moves me deeply. Thank you, Sarah, for being my inspiration back then. ❤
