@jimmyz2098

Warren DeMartini. Man what a killer tone he had. I'm thinking he was one of those Soldano guys mid to late 80s. Early 90s.

@metalboy5150

Michael Landau simply does not get mentioned often enough as the absolute badass that he is. I'm constantly telling people that if they had a favorite pop/rock song in the 80s/90s, Michael Landau probably played guitar on it. Either him or Dann Huff, or Bruce Gaitsch (or any combination of the three). I gotta remember to add Tim Pierce to that list.

@bolillo5013

That amp can do literally anything, it’s crazy. Modern metal distortion, sparkly cleans, edge-of-breakup tones…

@adamziolkowski2549

Happy to see a 4x12 being used here ❤

@chaos4316

Tim hit the nail on the head.

@thomaswagner6495

Yep. I have the Peavey 6505. These Soldano SLO amps are very versatile.

@jasonstone1046

Was always on my list after playing one in the early 2000’s on tour. Bought one a few years ago. As incredible as I remember it.

@bluez1981

I was first aware of the Soldano because of Clapton. I was a 13 year old guitar fanatic I wanted to learn everything about everything guitars amps effects... And at that time the soldano SLO was called his main amp for the Nothing but the blues tour to promote his CD from the cradle..one of my all time favorites.

@theklaus7436

In this league- we have what I call the professional amps. They are expensive and arguably the most important thing for your sound. So the taste of what sounds you want will probably be the deciding factor for these expensive great amps. But this is of course just my opinion.

@AlexRDL88

I have the neural dsp of this. Im sure the hardware is just that much better, but the plugin is stunning!

@jamesraymondsmith

i had 3 soldano 20 watters. stupidly sold them. had their own unique voice for el84 tubes

@protoolsfanatic7276

This is the rich man's way of getting that solid state tone 😂.

@crucifixgym

Mike Soldano changed my life

@dunki-dunki-dawg

Peavey do the Valveking and the 6105 head which when paired with the right spkr gives you the Soldano sound exactly. Even the wave form is the same exept for a little hump in the lower mids. Valveking for £250 vrs £4000 plus a decent spkr.

@s.e.n3264

It's a great metal amp

@bayougtr

I like #8.
Not a bad platform.

@CooperLudke

Mick mars was a user of these amps

@dyers1210

Plug into an ADA mp1 and you can recreate the early 90s.

@JohnWiku

Cries in saldana , laughs in L (Marshall) 😂😂 wtf man

@Bellabaddi

I think they were soliciting SRV? I think SRVs early tone was best, the fumble tone was too mushy/fuzzy imo but I wonder what would have been if he had gone the SLO route?
