Set the stop loss and enter at certain location. If it fails, that means the market is against you and you are wrong at your prediction. Always set stop loss for protection and protect from major loss.

I don’t use stop losses but I only trade one instrument every day. Seems to be working for me as I trade full time now and green $3500 into over $50k in 5.5 months. Just saying. Everyone is different. I feel the markets out that’s why I don’t put stop losses. I would’ve been stopped out today if I did but instead the S&P got over extended and I took a $1k profit day. Thanks to no stop losses.

People need to be careful, because they can see your stop losses. There’s a reason we see those flash crashes, also known as “stop loss hunting.”

I know a guy at work bought into Shiba when it was super dirt cheap. It started to drop 0' so he went from 3k to over 50k. He had no stop loss, lost some 50k.
