i upgraded from the 12 pro to the 16 pro a couple months ago and i notice a huge improvement. then again i'm someone that's constantly on their phone / taking photos with it

Come on, dude attention to detail was seemingly not present in this video. It has the A18 Pro not the A17 Pro. And the screen gets down to one nit of brightness, not one hz. You’re getting the phone and the watch mixed up. I appreciate these videos, but large tech channels like this should pay a little bit more attention to these details.

I had an iPhone 13 that had a broken motherboard (wifi, Bluetooth, gyroscope broken) I broke it like two weeks after I got it and I lived with it for two years using my old se 2 for the wifi and Bluetooth and only using the 13 for cellular. Two days ago I traded in the 13 for a 16 pro in the desert color and aside from looking incredibly gorgeous and way better than my 13 in dark green it’s a massive upgrade due to the hardware and my personal issue with having two phones. If you broke your previous phone and want to treat yourself just get the 16 pro. You’ll catch yourself gazing at it while watching YouTube and being in disbelief you own the damn thing. Just do it for you and enjoy it this is the most fun I’ve had with a phone ever I love it to pieces and I’m paying for Apple care because it’s so amazing. If you already have a pro model it may not be a worthy upgrade but going from a base model 13 to a 256 gig 16 pro is mind blowing

6:00 no one is saying the charge rate is 45W, that was a wild rumour and we all now know it is 30W max and that is only on an empty battery. Once you get to 80% the charge rate drops to 10W (@5V)

Don't laugh, but I just upgraded from the iPhone 6s Plus. After watching many reviews, I was surprised that no one talked about the actual phone usage - you know, dropped calls, speakers, etc. I was reminded that Gen Z thinks it's rude to call, and mainly texts ;--) This said, you did mention the quality of the sound / voice coming from the speakers (many others did in the "video" features of the iPhone. My Mom's hearing has been challenging. Now that I switched to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the microphones must be pretty rad as well because she can now hear everything in our conversation. That's a huge improvement - and as silly as this sounds - makes purchase of the phone worth it. The cameras, while "cool", are not something I've needed just yet - as I use larger sensor cameras for most of my photography. The faster refresh rate, face detection to open apps, etc is also a game changer from where I was upgrading. This phone feels generations better than the iPhone 6s Plus - as it should.

I just bought the 16 pro last night, so I don’t have it yet. Upgraded from iPhone 11. Figured I needed to make the move before the tariffs raise the price. I’m excited! Ordered the desert sand with 256 GB. I ought to be set now for another 5 years. That gets me on 5G also.
