What if your old phone number is no longer in use by you as you transferred to another country. But the phone where you’ve used the old phone number is still with you and occasionally you connect to wifi and was able to use watsapp still even without a simcard in it? Will it keep the old data when i finally insert a new simcard and press change number in settings?

Hey your video was very useful but i just wanted to ask what if we have blocked someone and if someone messages from a new number then will that person be also notified about that new number and if he is able to message on that new number??? Please answer 🙏

Thank you. If I go on a vacation and get a new prepaid SIM card into my iPhone. I assume I can still use my original WhatsApp to text receive and make WhatsApp call without any need to update the new SIM card #? Am I correct? Thanks

First backup old whatsapp via whatsapp > settings > chats backup to google. Then put sim card from original whatsapp account in new phone then delete and reinstall whatsapp on new phone and it will load everything from google backup to new phone. Once finished you can now remove orig sim card and add the new sim card with new phone number and old numbers should still work as well as new number. Took me hours to solve. good luck!

One has whatsapp business account and the other one has normal. so, now want to send all the chats from my old phone number which is registered with business account to the new number which is already registered with whatsapp and it have chats also. please reply How to transfer it?

This didn't help me. I already knew these steps, but my chats did not send to my new phone. I have a new (temporary) phone with a new number that comes with it. I want my whatsapp account from my old phone & number to be transferred to my new phone/number. Idk how to make it work. 😤
