Notes from the video:
-handwrite notes
-you have to be able to quickly find what you’re looking for (otherwise, what’s the point of having notes?)
-they should indicate the different levels of importance for different content
(For self: use underline red pen and highlighter for MOST important, just highlighter for secondary importance and little to nothing for the nice-to-know info that helps you remember)
-have a small or large section space for your own thoughts and questions (can be smaller or larger for diff subjects, or can just be written in color and anywhere in the notes)

The Different Teaching Styles Teachers Have:
Teachers who provide slides before lectures:
-prepare slides beforehand — download them or print them out and bring to class. Since important info is probably already there, just do annotate your own thoughts and questions before class. Again, use a system of underlining, highlighting, or circling or whatever to mark pieces that are most to least important, so reviewing is easy later.

Teachers who handwrite on the board:
Usually well-structured and follow outlines, so write down everything on the board. Again, mark notes according to order of importance. Thoughts and questions .

Teachers who use slides in class but don’t provide any slides beforehand:
Try to make an outline and fill in the details later
Take note of what teacher emphasizes the most
Don’t write entire sentences! Use very few keywords, like (pineapple example) instead of the whole 1 paragraph example.

Definitions>Applications>examples when taking notes. >means left side is more prioritized than left side.

Teachers who just talk: they still have a material that they base their talks off of, so find that source material and make an outline and write what things the teacher talks about that appear in the outline.

I think i wrote too much, oh well
