thanks for the useful tips on behavioral interviews! i remember when i was trying to break into product management, i thought i could wing it by reading articles and watching videos. spoiler: i bombed the real interviews. then i stumbled upon The Thinksters. their structured approach was like a cheat code. back then, they offered free sessions, and honestly, that was a game-changer for me. i learned to frame my experience better and eventually got offers from top tech firms. it was a wild ride, but hey, it worked!
This is a really good video. It is low stimulation, with a calm voice, no cuts and no music or fancy visuals - all of which encourage reflection. The summary is up there on the board so you know where it is going. This soothed me before my interview.
I have my first interview tomorrow, thank you so much for these videos!! edit: I passed the first two behavioral rounds! Onto the case interview
This video is underrated. I will be having an interview this February 12 and I realized I was focusing on the wrong things. Watching your video, I have learned on what and how to prepare. You just gained a subscriber, man. Thank you so much for your effort in helping all of us! All the best. wish me luck!
tbh this just stressed me tf out, some people are just absolute professionals
This is so great. I struggle with answering behavioral questions without getting lost in the details or being too talkative. I feel that having this framework will help me with being concise.
I think the only reason they ask for things like "your proudest accomplishment" is to scan if you are a fit for the position. For example if you are applying for a senior position, but the thing you proud of is the junior or middle specialist level - you are not really on a senior level yet.
What a great lecture. As someone who went straight into construction at 18, I never got to further my formal education. I find so much value from the way you teach. Itβs like getting the most important aspects of a business degree. ππΌππΌ Thanks
After giving few behavioral interviews and not being able to crack it. This covers everything what went wrong. I wished I found it sooner
Have watched a few interview videos but this one is a level ahead in terms of actually getting you prepared. Authentic content, not just buzzwords and fluff. And yes, you called me out several times and yet I learned a lot from it. Thank you!!
Wow! I am blown away. This analysis is so crisp and practical. Thankyou so much!!!
Hi! You donβt know me but I watched this video before my recent interviews and used a lot of your methods. You are a genius! After so many applications I finally landed my dream job. Thank you so much!!
Thank you Matt, I followed your advice before a behavioural interview which was the final stage for a job I wanted. I got the offer in the end π
You are so eloquently spoken and your approach to interviewing is incredible. Thank you for sharing. I have an interview in a couple of weeks, and I pray that these techniques will help me to get the job.
I'm a software engineer and I'm looking for a job in a company outside my country, Its quit a challenger cause english isnt my mother language so I had to learn it also. I've got interviewed like 22 times already and no lucky at this time but still working and improving my habilities, certainly this video helped me a lot. This is a video to watch more than one time guys.
Hey Matt, although you often mention in your videos that your main audience consists of students going through their first jobs and interviews, I still find them valuable even for more senior professionals looking for new perspectives. Thanks so much for sharing your thought process and these useful frameworks!
I have an interview coming up in a few weeks and realize that other videos were making the process so difficult that passing the interview seemed insurmountable. But after watching your video, I have a plan I can execute in a short period and hopefully pass the interview. Thanks for this video.
Thank you for this video! I have an entry level accountant interview in 4 days and your videos are helping my nerves.
This is an amazingly effective presentation on handling interviews from novice to a senior level. Thanks for sharing
