Small correction Purple DOESN'T have a spectrum of light, it's Indigo and Violet. Purple is essentially our brain filling in the blank, which makes it incredibly unique

Pink is when purple and red light is bounced off and a small amount it makes the magenta look pink

Pink is as real as all the other colors: Just a combination of L (red), M (green), and S (blue) cone cell signals, interpreted by the brain.

Fun fact: The rgb system can create as much as 16,777,216 colors (red green and blue had 256 shades which means the total colors equals 256 raised to the 3rd power)
