@RationalAnimations

I started uploading again. Check out my new videos. Still science (and probably more), but animated: www.youtube.com/RationalAnimations?sub_confirmation=1

@RationalAnimations

yes, it displays prime numbers in sequence :)

@tm30shadow_ball

Bro was messing with redstone in a whole nother level

@hareecionelson5875

as a child when I was told about the idea of a supernatural creator, I wondered why such a being would even bother to construct a universe and planets that lead to humans. What would be the point

but watching these videos of games of life, for me the satisfaction of seeing complexity arise from the most simple rules is unbeatable

@TheRealFlenuan

That structure at 1:48 reminds me of the general form taken by many of the larger patterns found in the [two-state] automaton B45/S12345 (rule 011111000/000011000), which I like to call "Rivers" (because of the streaming, "eroding" chaotic regions that resemble evolving rivers found throughout such patterns).
Also, what is that puffer at 1:27? It's perplexing!
(Keep up the cool videos! :D)

@pingwingugu5

From cellular automata to grabby aliens in 10 years.

WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN
MIND BLOWN
THIS IS NEW OBSESSION
JUST IN TIME FOR MIDTERMS TO NEVER HAPPEN
A+ TO YOU SIR

@alexandrosfilth7042

I'm hooked on Codd and Von Neumann work. I wrote the white paper on general artificial intelligence and it's inextricable link to virtual quantum computation and NDFAs

@BWEPS

You figured it out by exploring the binaries I love it

@wonseoklee80

Cellular automata is one of the extremes that Turing machine can do - simulation of universe. Literally.

@RationalAnimations

@LimpsOfMuck look at the pre-builded patterns in golly

@EmmetEarwax

The drying up of these websites was one reason why I threw in the towel on a hobby that I had pursued since 1970. I am a senior citizen now. I do not have the vigor or focus I had back in the 70's. The larger the pattern the more likely I will make mistakes on transcribing it from computer to life program (to run gen by gen.) & from that to graph scrapbook.

After running out of patterns to run, I turned to checking for and correcting errors. found a few !

Two other hobbies I have also dropped.

@Puleczech

I got a feeling that CA will be one of the most important fields in near future...

@ksalarang

This is so awesome!

@Daravenrk

nice computer modeling!   I feel like im in cpe again

@joshuamora411

Neat

Cellular automata bullet hell madness awoop

@callofover6595

what language and how are you optimizing it

@LouigiVerona

What about LifeWiki? Also, why would you want them to not "dry up"? I mean, Life is not something you can build a community around, imo.

@cycerin

nice psytance, what is it?

@MrEntaroadun

Music name please ?
