Burnaby Joe is a living F'N legend. Top 5 all around MVP GOAT. And even with the modern tech, his wristshot and toe-drag from the back foot changed the entire game.

Burnaby Joe...my all time favorite player. Consistant, talented, driven. The most drama there was around him is when he hurt himself. And yet he always gets overlooked a bit just due to the other superstars that were in the league while he played.

It would have been cool if you mentioned that Bourque not winning a cup in his 22-year run was the reason he left Boston for Colorado, and the Bostonians didn't even hold it against him; they instead understood and rooted for him.

Detroit fan here. Can't say I like the guy as. you know, I'm a Wings fan. I do respect him and recognize how good he was though, he was a great player. Perfect Human, no, that belongs to Lidstrom only.
