@anonmeatcheesebun

I hope you invite that first person out to Texas. They seemed genuinely happy and excited. Would love to know more about their method too

@mmowaffak

Shout out to my Egyptian homeboy who mastered the Texan craft of BBQ all the way from Egypt, and added that eastern oriental touch to score a solid 18.3. Making us proud Chef Kareem 🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬

@itsjulianmu

Let's go!! Thanks again for having me, I had an absolute blast! Maybe we run it back again next time when it's not winter and 25 degrees 😂

@angelruiz1113

Joshua I’m from Portland OR. I love that you came here. I feel like lately Portland has only been talk down about but glad you put a light on our great food. I’ve never been to these places and will definitely be going soon!!

@LEGOCOOKING

as someone without the means to travel internationally, i love these videos for getting a glimpse into cultures around the world 🌎

@beastyash2925

3:46 Joshua: it's exactly how I like it, it's perfect it's like Grandma's food

Also Joshua: 7.5/10

@spaz610

Joshua I love this series. You are so knowledgeable for real about food, authentic natural guests, the best international cuisine… your channel is the top tier. We’ve lost all the good food channels. Please keep knocking it out of the park!

@Agent28Rock

Just went to Miya Miya today, after watching this video drop this same morning. The crew is absolutely FANTASTIC!
The Chicken Shawarma Wrap is even better than Josh's grade!
For sure, we're going back!!
If you're in the LA area, or visiting LA, please do yourself a favor, and seek out Miya Miya.

Let’s go PORTLAND! I live in PDX and it’s definitely a sleeper city when it comes to food. Chock full of creative cuisine, incredible ethnic food everywhere you go, vibrant bars, and some of the best food trucks in America.

@tiffanymf

24:08 the shoutout to food vendors post-california fires was so, so sweet. your channel has so much reach, especially to people who actually keep a list of your featured food vendors to try later. they went through so much and just you shouting them out helps them so much!!! thank you for all you do josh :,)

@MrBenfranz

Jerk Chicken cooked in a streetside barrell was one of the culinary joys of Crown Heights, NY.

@WideLoad405

I love that this video has some of that silliness I've been missing from your videos. Great fun.

@PBKmcbain

26:00 the “no way” killed me there hahaha 😂

@Wismic

My thing is, most street food in America is just as expensive if not more than a lot of sit-down restaurants, whereas in other countries street food is considered to be a quick/inexpensive meal. It makes sense if they make something you can't find elsewhere, but like the food trucks selling burgers/hotdogs for like $11 with $4 water bottles it's like... cmon man.. killing the industry..

@CrunchyElia

My grandparents immigrated from Karpathos and Naxos respectively to start a life in Ohio 50 years ago, my grandpa was a dishwasher and my grandma was a manager at Bob Evans. Together, they opened a tent for selling original Greek gyros and have been doing so for 49 years ever since, now operating five different trailers across fairs. They're practically micro celebrities in the Northeast Ohio area and are recognized for their charisma and hard work. I'm proud of having worked for them for over a decade now.

Support small businesses, support street food vendors, and support immigrants. They do more for this country and the people living here than you can possibly imagine.

@isaacbear7115

Once he did the intro for LA I knew they would win. It's like in wrestling when one of the performers doesn't get an entrance

@tanithd

portland food is SO slept on. there’s such a culmination of cultures that makes the food so fucking good

@apthayer

I got emotional when you started talking about LA. Thank you to all the food vendors who stepped up during the fires.

@Moulali29664

The shwarma's bread is called rumaal roti which is bread as thin as hand kerchief

@elliotearles8302

I can't tell you how happy I am that Portland made the top 4...well deserved
