The chinese ambassador recommending full disclosure to his people is pretty hilarious
Without even insulting Kinsey, Thor successfully delivered the best "Fuck You" out of the entire series.
Man, the way Thor says 'Senator Kinsey' is masterful. Like he just stepped in something unpleasant and it had the audacity to address him by name.
"...and while our continued friendship with earth is not contingent on that, it is preferred. " Love the way he says the last few words. It's basically saying "while our friendship doesn't depend on that, it totally does and we all know it".
☝️ Supreme Commander.......
We all know Jack was not completely joking about getting rid of the dear Senator
Love watching Kinsey getting verbally bitch slapped by Thor.😀
I keep coming back to watch this occasionally, just for the "SUPREME Commander."
I love how Kinsey and the diplomats are intimidated by Thor and he makes Kinsey address him by his title. He also acts very cold and direct with them. Then he is far warmer to General Hammond and Hammond just calls him Thor. It goes to show how Thor's respect and trust are earned and the SCG have earned it. He has neither respect nor trust for Kinsey and he lets Kinsey know lol.
Thor is such a nice guy. Loyal to his friends and allies. Willing to risk his life for the greater good. Not above some slightly intimidating humor. Great guy.
Supreme commander, I didn't go to Supreme school for five years, for no reason😉
And with one tiny finger Supreme Commander Thor brings down the hammer on Sen. Kinsey...
Credit where credit is due. The show could have purely been science fiction with 'bad guys' attacking Earth but the writers knew to explore the politics of the Star Gate and the need to control it. Fantastic show.
"Supreme Commander!" Never in 10 seasons has Kinsey been so intimidated. I love it!
we've always seen Thor as a badass with tech and now we see him as a badass with words. Thor = best alien of all time
Thor’s entry, and their reactions is just perfect. And Hammond is just sitting there casually welcoming his little grey friend in.
This was a rare and interesting glimpse into the fact that Thor (And the Asgard) were actually masterful political players. Thors speech here is perfect, makes it clear the alliance will stand either way but if they want to work with them closely it's gotta be the status quo.
Proof, that no matter what species Thor is , be it Asgard or Aesir God, Hammer or no Hammer, he is a badass.
The only time it's ever blatantly apparent that Michael Shanks also voices Thor is right here when he says, "And while our continued friendship with earth is not contingent on that". The tone and delivery of that line was massively Daniel Jackson.
