This must be the only time Jeff said "I cannot demostrate that because I cant do it."
"long term consistency beats short term intensity." - Bruce Lee
People who complain about this guy talking a lot don't realize that he's explaining the science behind his rationale. Anyone who has a background in human anatomy and neuromuscular exercise physiology will know that what Jeff is saying is scientifically accurate (backed up by studies conducted in controlled lab settings). Then again if you don't like to be educated about your workouts then go back to watching your Jeff Seid videos.
Bruce Lee was a 5'7" beast. I feel bad for anyone who got into a fight with him because he was probably capable of lifting twice his bodyweight
Awww, you're too kind.
Don't forget that Bruce Lee also believed in controlling your body energy. He didn't see Chi as a magic missile or a book of matches. He saw it as an internal generator. He saw it as a source of power that supersedes his physical abilities. It was his warrior's spirit. When he hit someone or something, he wasn't aiming at the object, he was aiming for the wall behind it. When he kicks you, he wants to blast you away, not make you snap in half and die, though he can do both very easily. How'd he do it? He meditated. He focused on his breath. When trivial things came across his mind, he would breath deeply and set the thoughts aside. This allowed him to find peace of mind, and achieve higher levels of thinking. You want to be a warrior? You want to win a fight against someone stronger and more experienced than you? You've got to outsmart them, catch them off guard, strike with precision, show a copious amount of insight, and you can't do that with a clouded mind. "It's the punch you didn't see that knocked you out."
I heard Chuck Norris say "Bruce had trouble relaxing." Chuck said, Bruce would do sit ups on the floor when everyone was enjoying tea after a workout.
I grew up watching him with my dad. My all time favorite. We still visit his grave when we can. It's just a few hours away.
I hate who ever dislikes this because Bruce lee is awesome
Bruce Lee was ahead of his time in his training.
Abs should be of steel. Me sitting on couch: Contracts abs.

"The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering" Bruce lee lives on.
Bruce Lee was amazing, often in movies the fight sequences in his movies had to be slowed down because he did them so fast. He was incredible.
“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” My fav quote
Bruce Lee was one of the best, if not THE best, martial artist in history -- and he's certainly the best of the modern age.
