This is actually really cool. Provided that you have another project you want to print that is a great way to reduce waste. Cool video. I hope it gets around more!
this has to be more known, this can really be super useful!
One way to save time and save on flush is to do what this video suggest with multiple copies of the mushroom. For example, 5 mushrooms but one of them is set to "flush into object." The time is saved because changing filament color adds a lot of time per layer changed.
Best solution so far!
That's the most genius and easy way to not waste it
That's really good to know, especially when printing prototypes or hidden components where the colour is not as important!
Omg man. Why no one else talks about this? You should be famous
That's fantastic!
First time I hear about this technique, that's a really smart idea ! 👌🏼
Hey 👋 I like that. Fabsolutely brilliant!
Well that's fantastic news, I just got a printer and my first multicolor print was some tiny little thing and the flush block was maybe 25% of the main object. Now I just need to find something that I need a lot of and don't care about the looks
That's so cool omg and that color palette for the extra piece looks really pretty
That's freaking awesome! I bet you end up with some unexpected colors
btw, you can simply right-click on the object and set the flush via the fly-out menu. If you have multiple flush objects, you can 'assemble' them in to one unit and then make these changes to the whole group.
Didn't know that! Cool! Thx
Don't look bad at all, good job!
I don't own a 3D printer nor do I own filament. But now I know and I'm glad I do
This is amazing! ❤
Could you just create two objects the outside being the one with the nice look and the inside one being where it purges to so all the infill would just be the multicolored mix and then the outside would be the correct color
