Can someone please explain why our indicators are independent from one another? Doesn’t the fact that n is a maximum influence of n+1 can also be a maximum?

i think in your rush to put out a video you skipped explaining some very crucial facts that would make understanding the example problem easier, eg: where the fuck did 1 and 14 come from, does this work when there are negative numbers? and the final expected value result is very handwavy.
