Gomez would be a good signing but I think Welbeck would make more of an impact. They’re both really exciting prospects though

It is quite likely difficult regarding transfers at the moment as most players are going to be on their holidays just now. You can see how quiet it is on the BBC Transfer page across the board. As you say, if we keep Alese and Huggins fit - yes, a big IF - that would solve a lot of problems as I see the pair of them as well able to handle the PL though time will tell. I'm just going to wait for the scarf shots now but still can't help researching every bit of transfer speculation until pre-season starts.

Ghisolfi does sound very promising and exciting going forward, as for transfers we do need to start getting a move on cos the players return for pre season in 10 days but with the Lauriente news things might be starting to heat up also I've heard a little rumour from Italy about Angelino from Roma, ex man city Spanish LB, could be interesting

They can't do anything with Henderson until the middle of July. He has an option in his contract that he can become a free agent in the middle of July. If they want to get him in now it will cost them a fee.

Looks like a possible change in the power dynamics of the management Wayne? Will likely strengthen RLB’s say, especially in transfers, so hopefully we see less players recruited who fall by the wayside too easily (eg Ba, Pembele, Aleksic, Rusyn etc). I think Ghisolfi’s immediate impact will be players being recruited from the French and Italian leagues. I found the attached podcast involving Roma fans talking about Ghisolfi which was interesting. Consensus seemed to be he was happy to splash the cash on players, not all of whom impressed. To be fair, he wasn’t there very long and the club has been through a lot of changes in a short time both before and during his time. From the recent players linked, the Ukrainian centre forward, and the Bronby left back look good……….(video link to follow)……..

I look at everything that's reported about transfers to the club but as yet it's all speculation and supposition so I'll keep taking the chill pills until I hear or read something definite announced by the club. Enjoy the summer Wayne and keep your fingers crossed we can get rid of the dead wood from the ranks 🔴⚪🤞🤞
