Hiw do u create the wood grain look where u patch the hole. Without painting the door a solid color.

My recently rented Apt now that I'm in has this on the bedroom door and the bathroom door.....the last tenant & His gf Fought Alot....but thanks for the share & now i can fix it......but I'll just paint them white afterwards to match the trim.👍😎
