@WorldSuperCars-WSC

Sometimes switching to integrated graphics is faster than reinstalling graphics card

@iielysiumx5811

I would also completely uninstall your graphics drivers and download them fresh using DDU. I recently upgraded from a 3060ti to 5070ti and despite updating my drivers they were very unstable, a fresh install completely fixed this

@blueshadow5617

i'd like to point out while turning the power supply off is a good idea it is recommended to leave the cord plugged in as that provides grounding and simply touching the case can help prevent exposing the components to static

@UaMakOfical

Finally a real tutorial.

@masonhaynes2545

You made that so simple thank you.

@Punz18

Remember to make sure you have the correct drivers especially when switching GPU brands

@bluetigergaming-roblox3351

Thank you for this video saving it for any future upgrades

@meridian6042

Reminder to use DDU in safemode even when upgrading within the same brand (amd/nvidia) to ensure its a clean upgrade

@biansPage

I love the founders rtx design

@yannaedc5934

thank you for this video

@spentcasing3990

Little tip for those who have big air coolers and can't reach the pci-e tab. Use a wooden chopstick. It's more then long enough to reach. And less chance of damaging your motherboard if you slip.

@LawaBoy

Would recommend that you keep the power cord plugged in, but of course the PSU turned off. This will remove any static electric charges.

Most cases do have thumb screws these days but some may still require a Philips type 2 screwdriver.
Since you screwed them in when mounting your new CPU.

DO NOT WIGGLE YOUR CPU. Shit might break.

At the end. when going for a plugg your monitor in, at least go directly for the correct output slot on your new GPU.

@frozen.tomato

Also remember to ground yourself so no static can damage the components

@frederikbh1

Don't forget to use a display driver removal tool. I almost always encounter problems when I don't do this, even when going RTX->RTX!

@Nova_Lalma

Driver is who needs those

@MetalMan1245

This is why I dislike shorts, not that this is a bad video, but because of the format it glosses over A LOT of potential problems and things to consider, like what GPU to buy, if your power supply doesn't have enough cables to support your new GPU, if there's just regular screws instead of thumb screws, if you have an older style PCI-E clip that goes to the side and not down etc. it just demonstrates that this sort of squashed down content is only really useful for comedy and just about every other medium just turns out seeming really half-assed no matter what the creator did right.

@bwfishingandproduction6168

One thing if you change your gpu brand make sure to uninstall all of the drivers form the card of the old card.

@hansholck5982

It might help also plugging power cord back in, and turn on the PSU 😉🤣🥳 Thanks for a lot of good content 🥳

@platty7047

First step uninstall drivers 😉

@CoolJosh3k

Several important things were missed here, making it a bad video. Verge bad.
1. No ESD protection. 2. No anti sag bracket/support. 3. DDU to fully uninstall old graphics software components.
