When i went to Australia for my work n holiday, i choosed perth as my starting Point. Lived and worked there for a couple of months and then went up north along the coast. Everyone i knew from germany who went to Australia aswell, started in Sydney or melbourne. Western Australia was so amazing. Lonely beaches, barely any people and the Nationalparks are the most beautiful places i have ever visited till this day. Been there in 2013.

You should be Peru on the list. There are so many amazing places to visit, the Amazon River, the highest tropical mountain range in the world,.the Cordillera Blanca, the 03 deepest canyons in the world located near the city of Arequipa, the highest navigable lake in the world, lake Titicaca, and the Nazca lines, most well-known figures on a dry plain that date from 2000 years ago. I'm peruvian by the way.
