I actually had just been reading Job and went back to Bible Project on Job as well, and I honestly believe they give really good answers to this exact type of question. It's more that we have such a limited perspective of all the interactions going on that we can't see all the hidden nuances, so it's best to just love and trust Him.

Well this video made me cry because I've felt that God is cold and uncaring for a long time, and yes I've tried to bury it too, by jumping through those same religious hoops each Sunday, and yeah, it still bothers me and I feel like I'm losing my faith. I'm a pastor's kid and have seen a lot of shitty stuff come out the church, and felt the weight of the church's judgement on my back. All that, along with my own personal struggles with sin, have resulted in a lot of bitterness and grief towards the church and even God, and I don't know what to do with it anymore. I feel like God has given me up at this point.

I believe, that God let bad things happens to us so that we may rest in Him. Here's the analogy, if we're never sick, would we go to the doctor? I'd like to think it this way. God uses pain so that we can go back to Him, because we're His creation. Apart from Him we can do nothing good. If we feel that God only care about Him getting the praises and worships, remember that He suffered pain worse for our salvation, because He knows we all need Him.

Sometimes God Want to put us into having faith in him ,To see who have turned their back from him at the beginning cause some just want to believe in God to be famous,rich,known around the world ,but when God put them into time of having faith they quickly forget God

If he took away the worst thing, then the next-worst thing would be the worst... and just as unbearable; then the next, then the next, ad infinitum, until stubbing our toe was the worst thing we ever experienced... so traumatic that we'd curse him for allowing SUCH misery to exist. We aren't his pampered purse-pets, destined to live a life of pleasure and ease. Perfection is honed through suffering, and even as a group experience we can develop empathy.
