Personal experience here: I have a lot of experience in front-end and I decided to learn back-end (Node). In the beginning i tought it would be easy, but back-end has to deal with a lot of responsibilities, just like front-end.
All Backend and Frontend tasks revolves around crud operation. It’s easy to write small scale frontend and backend logic but as your application grows more things come into picture like caching, telemetry, logging, monitoring, performance etc.
Modern Front-End development getting way more complicated nowadays.
Meanwhile full stack developer is laughing by seeing them from the corner 😂
Real fun in backend Development
yeah but both of them are still essential for making a successful website, without front end there’s no backend. no backend and there’s no front end
Back-end: copy a proven working solutions and play wow for a month Front-end: go crazy from bad design, go insane when design is changed every 2 weeks
In my first project, nobody is able to do frontend, then I picked it up, became frontend dev
Fullstack devs are just backend devs with some basic js knowledge and no css skills
You forgot that the front dev is actually the full stack
Modern frontend has gotten so much more complicated. Wish I lowkey stuck with backend lol
FE: "how to center a div?"
HTML, CSS, JS, REACT JS, REDUX/RTK, RTK QUERY, NODE JS, AJAX, RESTFUL API. Both sides are good and needed for web projects. Silly humor
then there's me rolling my eyes drinking my hour old coffee
Real devs know the front-end one is in more pain than the backend one 🙃
A Full Stack Developer doesn't necessarily need to work with a Front-End Developer if they have access to the Figma design. The role of a Back-End Developer is already vast and complex on its own.
Front end is also very logical dpends upon project scope
Reality : Backend is more fun than frontend
Thats why i prefer game development
