I think Laura filming the majority of the time herself is what adds to the videos. It feels like we are just hanging out with you guys on your beautiful property and also get inspired and learned a-lot along the way. When you go shopping with your Mom and/or Monica it is so fun as well because you feel like you’re part of the family. ❤
The prompt "Douglas requests that you Silence your cell phone" is so funny 😂😂😂
I just want to say Laura is one of the most gracious people I've seen. She is very humble, quick to give out compliments to Aaron, Bethany, Paul and others and not too proud to admit her mistakes. It's a lesson for us all. When a subject or sentence appears to go in a negative direction, she is quick to point out the positive or the good. She is not easily offended and bounces back with levity! She is who she is, and I love it! "God resist the proud, but gives grace to the humble". God has blessed her, Aaron and their family, and made them a blessing to their families, suppliers, antique stores, the Iris Farm, on and on, including us, who faithfully watch and look forward to "the next one"! I have learned so much about plants from Laura and Aaron, but more than that, I have learned from them about giving back and caring about the community we live in! 🥰
A couple things: I super appreciate the no click bait thing. There have been NUMEROUS channels i want to watch but the clickbait thing turned me off. Also, laura's smile in the thumbnail is super welcoming :) also also, i watch garden answer as a sort of living vicariously through laura. Being disabled and living in an apartment in town, the most i can handle is a couple houseplants. Being able to watch Laura create beautiful gardens, dig in the dirt, and show off the beautiful flower trees and everything, helps that gardening itch to buy, plant, and keep beautiful things <3
Thank you for working hard so that we would still see videos while you were on vacation. 🌸
I love how you give credit to Bethany and Paul and the children for their contributions of the work that keeps your gardens going. You show how appreciative and loving you two are. ❤
Tell your editor to keep the funny comments up a bit longer so us slow readers can finish reading! Love the Douglas comment about cell phones😁
Your dedication to keeping the content flowing, even during breaks, is so appreciated, it’s become such a cherished part of our daily routines, like morning coffee! ☕
Last year, we replaced our shingle roof with a metal/shingle roof. It is metal with a finish that looks just like shingles. About the same price as a metal roof and with a 50 year guarantee. We love it - It has even lowered our heating /cooling bills.
Sounds like Aaron needs to run for City planner. He's got my vote
Aaron, maybe approach a hospital to plant. We plant our local hospital and its nice for the workers and patients. The larger hospital in our area has a garden club that comes in to plant it and others are done by the city. I love this idea!
we so appreciate your getting ahead so we don’t miss a day!! morning coffee routine like many!!
Wonderful recap. When you did the iris farm tour, I remembered a nursery that sent you plants years ago that their website crashed and wondered if that would happen again, so fun that you can give a local business a boost in sales. I am so glad you are taking the time to get away for a few days periodically, I really don't want you two to burn out. Thank you and have a great week. Have a blessed day everyone.
My compliments to the editor for sneaking that first hiccup in at the mention of escaping with the parents 👌Brilliant
Lost my farm to a flood in 2018—toughest time of my life. Had to take a 9–5 to stay afloat, but I never gave up. Now I run a solid tractor and farm machine hire business, pulling in about $85K monthly. These machines changed my life. If you’re thinking about investing, do it—it can turn everything around.
You helped Suttons iris farm sell out. They closed for the year on June 4th. I'm going to have to shop early next year. You have an impact on businesses you suggest. It gives them an extra boost in sales. Congratulations!
You can try tent camping in your yard, the kids would love it. 😊
You can have both! A metal roof that looks like shingles 😊😊
Re Cherry trees when I lived in OR had 5 huge cherry trees - Bings & Rainier. The birds ate the ones at the very top that we would never have reached and we ate the lower ones - tons of them, as nd chickens ate the ones on the ground. Everyone was happy.
